DRAFT
42 Culverhayes is a three bed bungalow, built in 1986 with cavity walls. Sarah and xxxxxxx moved in xxxxx years ago. Expanded foam cavity wall insulation was installed, 12” insulation in the loft, and they have changed most of the wooden narrow gap double glazing for wider gap A-rated K-glass. They have an open fireplace, although with the high level of insulation of the house they rarely need it.

The solar electric Photovoltaic (PV) panels produce up to 4kW of electricity. Any unused electricity is routed to the hot water immersion heater by an Immersun switch. Sarah has kept careful note of how much electricity she has saved with this device and with the PV, which she can show visitors.

A vegetable garden and greenhouse, and two chickens ranging freely, produce plenty of food for the table. Rainwater recovered from the main roof and the garage is used to water the garden.
